Your Role

We are seeking an engaged and structured ILS engineer who wants to help develop the technical solutions of the future with a focus on lifecycle management and operational reliability. You will work to ensure that our products are cost-effective, maintainable, and meet high reliability standards throughout their lifecycle.

As an ILS engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ILS strategies within the framework of technical projects. The work includes conducting advanced analyses such as Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS), and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), to ensure long-term cost-effectiveness and operational reliability. You will establish and manage technical documentation, maintenance plans, and spare parts lists that support the product's entire lifecycle. The role also involves close collaboration with designers, project managers, and customer representatives to optimize the product's supportability and maintainability. Additionally, you will participate in procurement and requirements specification of maintenance systems, contributing specialist expertise in logistics and systems support.

Since communication with internal and external parties occurs in both Swedish and English, you need to have a very good ability to express yourself in both languages, both orally and in writing.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• A degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on logistics, mechanical, or systems engineering
• At least 10 years of experience working with ILS, RAMS, or similar in defense, transportation, or industry
• Experience working in project form and accustomed to managing multiple stakeholders.

This position may require you to undergo a security review based on applicable security protection regulations. For positions requiring security classification, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship apply. It is advantageous if you have experience or knowledge of standards such as MIL-STD-1388, ASD S1000D, or similar, experience working with SAP, PLM systems, or other logistics tools, and certification in ILS or RAMS.
